I tuck my car to the garage today to get the brakes changed because I thought I hired a grinding sound from the passenger side but the guy said that they were quite new pads and it was just that Vauxhall have a different compound and it has metal bits in and it was to replace there old pads that used to have asbestoses in them?????
Is this true??
My pads weren’t even half worn so I am inclined to believe him but the local Vauxhall dealer’s aren’t the best in the world.

yeah its true. It's also why disks need replacing every 5 minutes now because the pad compound needs to be so hartd to make up for the lack of asbestos
