quikc question bout alpine HU, some of em have 60watts per channel and i've read that you need to get external power from the battery to run these.
This true? would i still need to do this if im not planning on using the onboard amp on the HU?

if ur not gonna use the h/u ubilt in amp, then it dont need wiring direct to battery/fusebox.

if the int. amp is gonna be producing 60rms per chan it will need to draw much more current than normal HU's, thus needing a bigger feed to draw bigger amps.
I bet this HU would heat up like hell tho!
Altho, if your running an external amp ur gonna be wasting this bonus (HU having 60w / channel).

you really have to wire them straight to the battery, like with the sort of power cable you would run to a normal amp
Also could somebody recommend the best one to get maybe some pics looking at about 300-400 cheers

doesn't seem worth using the onboard amp when my speakers need about 75RMS to run nicely...
