My sub is a Clarion SRM2591 10", it has a max power handling of 500w at 4ohms.
I cannot find the RMS figures anywhere on the net, could anyone make a rough guess at the rms figures and what power amp is needed to run it (mine has just gone poof).

give it 250RMS and go easy with the gains

I d say bout 250w as well m8...... choose a suitable amp though.... prob something like 400w rms + to run it nice so ur not over driving the amp

I was gonna say 250 as well, so i wont

I think it will be 248.5RMS into a 4ohm

Amp wise i would say a good 300-400RMS monoblock would drive that nicely

thanks, i was thinking of a 4 channel so i could do the front speakers off it aswell, one problem, no cash.
