As above and I mean loads of it - its leaving alot of it on my rear combat 2 bumper. Got a powerflow exhaust fitted and the engine (1.2 8v) has been decoked about 2 months back coz it was doing it then.
But now its even worse. Anyway to sort this out?
I know carbon build up happens, but not as much as this!
Appreciate any help, cheers

Maybe the engine is running rich.

I had this with my corsa. It was the performance filter. It tricks the engine into running ritch and hence you get carbon'd to fcuk. I am guessing youve got a piperx or k&n filter, take it off and see the difrence.

Not really. The best performance will come from stoichiometric combustion. I.e. the optimum air fuel ratio where all fuel is burnt and no excess oxygen or petroleum is left. Over fueling is just a waste and will not do a thing for the performance of the car. I could go on and bore you with the science of this statment to back up my claim, but i'll spare you as I really cant be arsed
