is vauxhall oil the best??
i got a corsa gsi, L reg,80k miles, which has got bad oil problems!! leaks n drinks oil!!! also makes ticking tapping noise!!
wat grade vauxhall oil would i need??
can i get it from any vauxhall centre, and how much isit??

vaux is best
i use vaux 10/40 semi-synethitic, costs around £11 for 5 litres
i to have a L reg gsi, and it drinks oil too, not as much now tho because i had the oil valve stem sills replaced, and they were completly knackered! never had any oil leaks tho

nah nah castrol magntec guys  lol drain the oil and get sum castrol in the best stuff around

Agree with rocky, magnatec is best no matter what make of car you have, dealer oil is usually cheap as chips crap what they get in bulk buy cheapo style.

If you are leaking and dripping oil this has nowt to do with the oil, you have a bloody leak, fix it first, lol

yeah i know my car is leaking, hopefully fix that soon, but what about the clicking/knocking sound, makes my Gsi sound like a proper banger, its only when engine is cold though???
also heard lot of people say, vaux is good AND bad, and same with castrol magnatec!!
from my experience ive used...
castrol magnatec 10w-30 semi synthetic
castrol magnatec 15w-30 semi synthetic
castrol non-magnatec 15w-30 non synthetic
and the best one ive found is the 10w-30 semi synthetic, hardly any problems. except for the leaks, head gaskets, and my valve stem seals are gone to i reckon!?

"luca 2020" how much was it in total to get your valve stem seals replaced??
im getting oil in the cylinders, coz bottom of spark plugs are gunky so mine must be knackred to, same with the head gaskets!!

yes vaux stuff is far from crap mate, maybe other makes oil is crap but vaux is not
its only 1 or 2 grades down from magnetex, and what stupid money do u pay for that?
