hi,

I was just wondering if it was possible to connect the speakers from my hi fi to my laptop? If so, how would I do it?

Cheers

U can get tidy ones for between £5 & £10

Munch, they phono leads go into the input on the back of your stereo. Most stereo's have an AUX or VIDEO feature.

probably not possible. You would have to use your Hi-Fi in conjunction with your PC to get sound over those speakers like i have done. with an aux-headphone lead and putting stereo on AUX mode.

It isnt possible to connect them directly as the laptop doesnt have a power output great enough to drive them so you can even hear them!

As i said, buy those leads and connect them to a stereo.
