what price are the alloys & tyres alone?
does the 40mm drop include new shocks & springs? what brand
u wont need your arches rolled either, (u cant roll them anyhow) u just need to remove the 2 top bolts from each plastic arch
sounds v.high to me

sounds abit steep but u have not mectioned suspension kit springs or shocks or both like gambit said
wheels are about 700 quid
springs if they are about 100 quid
about 70-100 quid to fit springs
an like said b4 17's bolt straight on so remove to bolts urself from the rear archs
so should be tops 900 quid or approx so yep too high m8y

right the wheels are mille miglia actions and they are costing £750. the 40mm drop is with jsut springs and i dont know wot make they are, but to fit and supply they are costing £150. and the arch rolling, well basically is them taking the plastic arch off, slightly knocking out the metal arch then bonding the arch back on (so the nuts wont be put back on) and thats £150 so the total is jsut over £1000. its all being done at r-tec. so is this sound about right or not?

my 17's dont rub on any metal.
mine just rubs on the inner arch.
just take the top two bolts out if its a deacent offset.
actually my m8 got these wheels and they dont rub at all on his gsi lowered 40mm

Well i have 16" mille miglia actions ET45 7.5" wide with 195/45/16 tyres and mine used to rub a LOT even witho nly me in the car.
The metal arch has been cut back to the spot welds and bent out, the plastic arch trimmed and bonded on with bolts removed and now the suspension can bottom out before the tyre hits. So arch work CAN be done, just not in the typical rolling fashion.

Well he did the arch work as part of a bigger job so it didnt cost me anything, but as said u shudnt need any done.
Also i wudnt get just springs buy a kit.
U shud be able to get wheels for £700 and suspension full kit inc fitting for £350 and thats a beter way to spend your £1050 IMO.
