Where can i find out about import duties/taxes etc for importing ICE from america to england? Or is there a way around it by saying its a gift or something like thaT? Its being sent from a friend there, not a company if that makes any difference! Matt

you have to pay VAT and import tax

does that happen on all packages, or is there just a chance that i might have to? And do you know the sort of rates?

if it is coming from a friend and you wrap it in birthday paper you might be alright

VAT and duty together costs 'roughly' 30% of the total value of your items! (this may include shipping costs, depends how the invoice is worked out!)
