I'm buying a snooper for my car and it comes with a cigarette lighter adaptor but my car doesnt have a fag lighter.
Can I wire it in to my battery using a switch, has anyone else got any better solutions rather than wiring to battery.
Help would be appreciated very much

hey. how come your car aint got one? anyway, i found tonnes of extra wiring for additional parts to be fitted to my car when i removed the centre heater pannel. maybe if you unscrew your gear box colomb and the storage pannel where the cigerette lighter should be and pull it outta the way, you might find the necessary wiring behind there. Just a thought.
Other than that, i aint got a clue how to help ya, gud look wiring it up

Fitting it to the battery should be pretty easy.
Run a power cable to the battery, find an appropriate ampage fuse to put near the battery also jsut to be safe. Run it into the dash and into a switch, then into the snooper (viam the power cable). Think u may need to earth the switch, can't remember :-S
Should be pretty easy to do, just a few hours work.

u cud wire it up directly
and have a switch there
jus make sure u put a fuse in between

No - there is just a pos and neg on the switch - the neg on 90% of cars Is the earth (Negative Earth Battery)
