ok i want to build my set up up over Xmas
thinking 2 12s with 1 amp to run them
components up front with amp to run them
new HU
ps2, screens etc already there
now, i have no idea about ICE tho
say i had 2 R type subs, both 12", 300w RMS, what size amp do i need to run them?
what the crack with 2 or 4 phms also, as u can buy both in 2 or 4
also would u make boxes or buy them?
some1 recomend me a good set up, 2 12s and an amp, id prefer to keep it all the same make tho so it dosnt look like i bought bits from all over the place
any info will help

great minds think alike mate.thats what im doing over the winter time
i also do not have a clue but do know that to run 2 300w rms subs you will need a 2 channel 600w rms amp

Agreed Chaz, get a Alpine M1000 for £400, then two 12/15" Type R's (4ohms per sub, so either 2 + 2ohm sub or single 4ohm coil) that will feed 500wrms into each and the subs will be working NICELY as they are rated at 300wrms each. Im running a VERY similar setup to the about and its nice, very SQ, hard hitting and loud enough for me!!

yeah spl is best bet for me?
sounds like 2 12 inch type r and the m1000 for 650 including box and wires. any good?
only thing is the subs look boring lol

or alternatively marv use fibre glass, resin and paint to create a build similar to the one in the front for the screen....i.e a bubble sort of shape, u will have a sort of theme then in your car! i think it will b
