Cos this nutta has a truck that will do it

Engines-- 3 Pratt & Whitney J34-48
BHP-- 36,000 @ Speed of Sound
Fuel Type-- DIESEL, 120 gals. per run
Value-- $500,000.00

The ShockWave Jet Truck runs over 300 mph racing airplanes at air shows, and holds the world record for trucks at 376 mph.

At 36,000 horsepower, the ShockWave has enough power to accelerate at 3 Gs vertical -- that's nearly twice as fast as the Space Shuttle!

It also holds the world record in a quarter mile for trucks at 256 mph in just 6.36 seconds

How do you like them apples

hardly the most areodynamic thing is it

and snowy, I thought the space shuttle was 3 G's at take off (the slowest point of the journey since its full of fuel )

Imagine all that power in something as areodynamic as , ermm, say a corsa! JUST IMAGINE WHAT YOU COULD DO WITH THAT!

Take over the world I say! Take over the world

cough,

initial G force of the shuttle is 1.6 but sustained G's of 3g are experianced by the crew. PGTF with your inaccurate data.

also hp is a calculation of torque which is a measurement of turning force. a jet engine pushs the truck along through thrust not turbing a crank to turn the wheels
