Been looking at the Alpine M500 and JL 1/300

anything else?

i've got a kicker XS50, 600RMS at 1 ohm for my 15in L5, cost me £300

You NEED an amp that will do 500RMS at 1ohm or 4ohm. The Alpine does 250wrms at 4ohms and WONT do 1 ohm. The mentioned Kicker sounds good to match your kicker sub.

Nope, afraid I'll have to disagree with you TOMAS his S12L7 NEEDS an amp which is 750RMS at 1ohm or 4ohm minimum. Or, get a Viper 1200.1 for under £400 and keep the gains and boosts etc. turned down
