Need a quick answer (Why i haven't used the help room).

What are the tell tell signs of the alternator packin up, or if there is any simple ways of testin to see if its gone? Wanna make sure it is cos there pricey and don't wanna waste anymore mulla.

Just use a multimeter, if its working correctly it should be putting out between 14 and 14.4 volts. Also try tightening the belt.

Yeah tried that, but its to fiddly. Its got a constant drain, nothin fused is the cause! Ive disconnected the altanator and if its still held its charge by tommorow that should be enuff to show that its knacked? Will it?
