A mate of mine got caught doing 104mph on the edinburgh by-pass at around 12.30 last night. The police never asked to see his licence and never game him a producer. They also never breathalised him, anyone know if this is normal? They just said a letter will arrive soon which he presumes will be a letter giving details of his court date. Boy has clean licence and been driving for over 2 yrs now without any accidents and is 20. The roads were also dead at that time on a Sunday night. What do you think will happen.

Dunno but tell him to go to court! A mate at work pled guitly thru the post and lost his license by riding a scooter w/o insurance. 6 points as a new driver is the max and he got them all. They pulled him for no L plates

Your mates goin to court im afraid,assuming the cops took all the info they needed from the reg plate via their computer,the same happened to my mate who drives a GTE 16v.he's just finished a six month ban,ive been karting the fat bastard about.
