i don't really wanna put it on the front bumper cause it'll spoil it but i got pulled yesterday by cops and i have to put one on now.
The only problem with a square number plate in the middle it that there's another corsa with the same kit and the same colours who's already put it there!! and i have to make mine look different

one other thing i heard was if i mount it in the middle on the mesh it will stop air flow into the engine bay?
this other corsa that has got it in the middle has got the number plate slanted fixed by brackets, so some air is still getting in

true. thinking of getting it slightly small than the original size, to make it look smart. i know this is illegal but hopefully i'll get away with it

hmmmm...it all depends on what the pigs are like around your way? me driving around beford, i could get away with it no probs...but if i drove to dunstable/luton i would get pulled straight up. Get your old one and see what it looks like roughly...surely it cant be that bad? and at the end of the day, all the pigs arnt exactly nice to modding foke and ive seen them pull over people because their exhaust is sticking out too much
Will it be noticably smaller than a standard plate tho?

not really that noticable. the standard plate it slightly bigger than the beam that runs across the bumper and all i want to do is make it the same size so it looks flush

go for it then mate
just as long as it doesnt stand out miles that its too small, then you shouldnt have a problem. Although keep your originals, in the boot maybe?, just in case you do get pulled over and copper pulls out a ruler and starts measuring
btw mate, nice car
