ditch the rear wiper an runthe positive and negatives from the wiper to the solenoid.
or
Run a seperate power feed and to a switch on ur dash.

ok, saw a post sayin i can use the rear demister wires, they will only nedto be extended 10cm. would this be any good?

then u dont have a rear demister.
id give up the wiper over the demister any day if u were wantin a simple job.
only prob is, that if u have the front wiper on and u stick into reverse the boot will open..just a word of warning

how about if u find where the wires to the boot come out (glovebox i believe) and then just hook up these bad boys to a switch and then to the battery. Could this then mean that you a) dont have to have the ignititon on and b) the boot isnt gonna open just cos u wanna go backwards
