Asked for a quote on adding 16" MM wheels and a SRi spoiler they said £250 extra, making my monthly payment from £106.88 to £136.04 is it me or is that a bit steep?? (haven't got much choice tbh as I want them on so they know I'd pay whatever ) Also the with the spoiler it's genuine Vauxhall so I thought it wouldn't cost much to put that on
Im with Norwich Union.
Opinions?

I am with performance direct and for mantzel power box +20bhp, 17's, exhaust system filter, brake mods, £2000 of ice i only payed, £100 across the year so i now pay about £110 full comp.
THink thats a bit steep matey, if ya start adding SRI spoilers etc you might pay SRI insurance.
If you fitted a GSI kit you pay GSI insurance strange but in some cases true, insurers are bastards not got no choice i am afraid

norwich union change 10% of ur premium per mod. They wanted £80 off me for a performance back box and induction kit but i decided to keep it standard. They also told me that if you have more than 3 modifications your car becomes classed as a kit car!!

Most insurance companies rip you off for mods.
Best off trying a modified insurance company next year like HIC or Adrian Flux.
Ul get the wheel and spoiler mods free then.
Till then ul either have to pay or not declare.

When i rang liverpool victoria about my mods, they told me that they don't even need to be informed about them, let alone paying more
