I have no idea why, but I've been thinking the speed limit for a single lane national speed limit i.e. a country road with national speed limit was 70 mph! Just read that and realised its 60

I've been passing police cars at 75+ on country roads and thinking I wasn't doing anything wrong, I wondered why most people drove slowly on national speed limit country lanes - I always end up thinking 'Grr... why are they only doing 55 - 60, its a bloody 70!'

I always thought the national speed limit sign meant 70 - but if the dual carriage way doesn't have a sign then its 60...

I thought the lovely black + white sign basically meant have fun...

Now I'll have to slow down, maybe? - doubt it Afterall, I possibly have the fastest Sxi in the UK
