think i got caught by a gatso in southend on saturday night, how long do the police have 2 send me notice by?

I've just been done by a mobile camera and it took 2 weeks to come through. Still waiting to find out what speed I was doing as the first form they send through is just to check who the driver was. I'm pretty sure I was doing less than 45 ina 30 so hopefully only 3 points a £60.
