Does anyone know how this works or know any web sites etc that may help me, Im doing the Windows 2000 Network Ifrastructure course and Im sposed to know all this or most of it?! D'oh

Its all bout how to make different networks using binary, subnet masks, class a, b, c, d etc.... and how to go about finding thsi out, maths involved etc?!

Hmmmmmmmm......... Im stuck not good........ so any help would be appreciated

wat is it your trying to find out exactly.

im not big on this shit but i manage my own network at home and use subnet masks and use static ips n such.

so i maybe able to help to an extent.

Yes if I was to create a 4 networks and this that and the other i would need 4 differetn subnets?! How'd do i figure it out in binary terms etc... *confused*

Ive read TCP/IP for dummies (prett good book) and the complete reference - networking (over 1,000 pages) I would reccommend both these books if you have the time to read them
