In windows:
Run 'cmd' to get a command line console (MSDOS like screen) then tyre 'ipconfig' and enter!

There are a few ways to get it, but it depends what he's doing......is he talking to you on MSN (easy to find, if you know where to look), on here (impossible, if you're not an Admin), or something else?
The main question is WHY you want it...

how do you do it on msn? and faceparty? Basically someone is sending me abusive msgs, i think i know who it is so wanna check.

On MSN, you'd have to wait for them to send you a message (or even a file, that'd make it much easier)...
Once done, go into a command prompt, and type netstat -an
It'll show you every IP address with a connection to your machine......MSN, from memory, runs on TCP port 1863.
