As you probably all know i changed my engine about a month ago as it decided to chew my big ends at 130,000miles we never changed the gearbox but lately the bloody thing wont go into second gear every other ones fine just second there was no crunching it just stopped going in!!!

Any i deas what i should do? do i change the box or is it just something stupid, checked all the mounts on the gearbox and engine, and checked all the bolts for the box(the reason i lost first and second on the way home from crail) but everything seems ok!

Maybe something simple like the linkage slipped, I lost 1st 2nd + reverse on mine

i had a good think about selling the car, i dont think i can afford to i need a car for work and i still owe money to my parents for it and there's no way i'll make my money back on it!

hey i seen colins running round the town once it's nice at least it aint like that ferrari wannabes that used to go about the town

Anyone know what happened to that did the guy see sense and buy a mclaren lookalike??

oh and sorted the gearbox problem i hadn't looked under the bonnet the whole week i had the problem and when i did i was gutted to find out there was a bolt from the box in between the rod and part of the box stopping it from going into 2nd i obviously didn't check all the bolts were tight when we rebuilt the b*stard
