well how old is the car? i would get the tracking done first, but the bushes wear out and leave play in the suspention which can lead to uneven wear.

also make sure the tyre pressures are correct
underinflation = wear on inside and outside of the tyre
overinflation = wear in the centre of the tyre...

I'm just wondering aswell, kind of off-topic and kind of on-topic here...
but can't ya get an adjustable camber kit for the front suspension which replaces the top mounts of the suspension? I'll be needing something like this I think as when I get the rear suspension & drive system fixed on my next corsa from a cally turbo, it'l be running at a camber of about -1o40" at the rear, so will be looking at fine-tuning the front setup to get the most from it all

If the outside edges of the tyres are wearing it ISNT negative camber from lowering thats causing it. Camber can be adjusted by either fileing the TOP hole of the damper to hub mount, to elongate it and then once done you pull it right across into the new elongated part and bolt them up real tight. Or you can buy eccentric top mounts which cost about £150 a pair, they are rock solid so not suitable for daily road use, they are a pain to set up and you need to run coilovers to use them. I'd say your problem is too much toe, take it to a good alineing place and get it sorted.
