as you probably know im wanting to buy an old mini cooper. i have found a place in yorkshire sumwer wer they build minis to your own choice.
i can either just get a standard red cooper sportspack, however for like 800quid more they will put the zeemax kit on with 13X7.5 inch deep dish wheels on (that is fuckin wide for 13").

what do u reckon to this. and imagine it resprayed in black with white stripes
u think this deserve the thumbs up or not. not sure on the price yet tho. say they start from 4,700, but i need a 1275 engine and a newish model

Looks good mate - mini's are pretty damn decent, with stiff suspension they go round corners a dream and perhaps once the insurance lightens up a bit you can drop a meatier engine in as they fly being so light.

Try gettin 'mini magazine' its always got nice minis in it. Loads of websites out there with modded minis on, try http://www.miniclassic.co.uk/

you can get a kit to put any honda vtec into a min for quite cheap (not the 3.6 or whtever out the nsx u monkies) and that would be like nearly 200bhp of vtec power in a mini (using the 2.2 v-tec out the prelude)- now THAT would be awesome

cheers for the replies mate.
ye the prices just start at 4,700. i am hoping i can get the one i want for less than 6k.
i havnt driven one, but have been in them and know that it is unconfy and hard to drive and that, but i am prepared to give up my car for it.
just imagine the grip u'd get with those 13X7.5" wheels.
