my rear seat is stuck about 2 notches onto the holder stalks that stick out for the seats to slide over, how can i free it out so i can put it right?

i got plenty violent, hammer violent, tried sticking a knife down the side too in case the catch wasnt freeing all the way, in the end i made a few "little" modifications

i drilled a new hole in the sticky outy bit and torx bolted it tight shut

This happened to mine as well, uve got to move the seat as far forward as it will go and get ur hand in between the quarter panel trim and the seat. U hav to get ur hand in 2 where the pin goes through the hole in the holder and grab the pin and take it out. I had to do this to mine and my hand got cut to pieces on the metal inside the seat but at least its sorted.
The trim comes off the back of the seat easily if u take the plastic retaining plugs off as u will c!

had his happen to me loads of times, best bet is to undo the torx bols behind the plastic trim in the boot then u can get at it easier, then peal back the cloth of the seat (it will go back!) and under the foam you'll see the pins stuck in the hole, it will be obvious what u need to do once you can see it
