circlip pliers to get the clip out the knock it out with a hammer. Careful not to damage the drum.

The pop the new one in and place in the circlip.

I get a strange squeek from my rear right wheel. It's quite loud (even above my 16v ). What can it be? Wheel aboput to fall off? It's always making thew noise when I am moving too.

I take the races out the same way you did matey with a screw driver, be very carfull not to damage the face of the bearing, if you carnt find something to get it back in with take the old bearing turn it so the thicker side is pointing down and use that to tap the new race in, once the new race is level with the drum use a screw driver to slowly and carfully tap the outer race down make sure its seated correctly, bit of a ball ache but thats how i do it

did you adjust the castle nut correctly, keep tightening it till you can just move the washer underneath with adverage pressure from a flat bladed screw driver, thats the correct tightness dont forget ya split pin!!!, if its still humming change the other side too as a matter of course, wheel bearings should hum most on cornering thats how you find which has gone turning left its the left rear right its the right rear

You dont need a torque setting, just keep tightin it till the washer can just about be moved with pressure, thats all it needs yours might not be tight enough!!!!!

its tight enuff belive me torque was too much the washer wudnt move
i had to undo it 1 notch on the castle nut to put the split pin in and the washer would move
