I'm putting this engine into my corsa 1.4 16v, its a c20ne out a cav. What happens with power steering, will my origional pump fit onto the new engine?

with the 2.o 16v u have to use the 2.0 pump. as on your corsa it has a multi ribbed belt and u need to be running a v belt one so use the one from a 2litre

I've used the original pump, but changed the pullys because on the original 2litre the pully was 3 cm wide with 1 belt.
Now the pully's are 1,5 cm and I am using 2 belts.
1 for the alternator and 1 for the power steering.
I've also bought a plate to use the original pump.

I've also cut a piece out of the motorsupport on the chassis, but I don't think you'll have problems because you will have power steering original.
(difference in motorsupports)

Ah rite i c....how come u decided to use 2 pullys, rather than having single pullys and one belt?

Because othewise the pullys are about 2 mm of the chassis and now 2 a 3 cm.
Got the info of the guy of matthyssen technics in holland.
the only difference is that i've used the whole dash and all the electric wiring of the astra Mk3
