Body Shop just rang the bill to fix the damage is £2600 pounds, now thats gonna be a borerline write off its up to the insurers discretion now!!!!! And i dint get my new corsa courtesy car i got a FORD FOCUS 1.8 LX, never mind i will keep ya informed, car needs new rear bumper, new boot floor, needs jigging, rear quarter, inner panel, 1no. alloy wheel, new rear axle, new plastic arch, re spray down one side. I hope it gets approved

Tell them that you want a respray all over to ensure a colour match and then it will be a write off coz that will bump the price up. Then buy the car back, and get it done cheaper, get all the kit yourself shopping around and all, save a lot of dollar and then put what you have left into modding it.

yeah the car will have to go on a Q plate i think and i dont want that, might buy another GSI transferr all my bits over then strip and sell whats left

it wont have to be a Q plate. It will just be down as an uneconomical repair.

Someone went up the back of my nova, was quoted £1400 to repair. They valued the car at £1200 pre accident and £75 post accident. So they gave me the car back with £1125. I then sent them £3k worth of receipts which meant it was no longer a write off. I got it fixed for £300. Made a nice profit
