ok a guy a know says his pug gti will beat my mates 2 litre corsa??his gtis got induction kit and full xhaust.the corsas got the same?can anyone back his point up?

I beat a 206 Gti in my 106 Rallye @ one gutted 206 Gti owner

I aint taken on a 180 model yet...

What does the bucket weigh?

I reckon on sub 15.5's for the 1/4 mile.

never managed to get it on that weighbridge day thing... bit i think 850-900

165bhp/130lbft - that powercap thing... higher top end power than std c20xe

talking of roads inc bends etc and short bursts the gti will beat the corsa, but on a long straight the corsa would outpower the gti! depending on drivers too as thats a major factor!

its rare for a 106 to break in2 14s though, im not sayin impossible but not that many have done it, average mid 15s, my xe runs 14s all day

true for pug to get 14's need sum work done to it, seen std one do 15.1 tho and iv done a 15.2

i know it can be done for pug/sax its just that not many do it,
ive heard standard hit 14.8 , but that wont happen often

traction is the main prob with them, if u hit it perfectly then thats wen u get low 15's hi 14's

traction , i cant remember what that is , my corsa spins terribly, took the vtr out last nite and that wont spin in the dry at all
lol feels so slow now lol ,
