ive just bought a nokia 8310 datacable for a tenner with driver. its a USB to fone cable. but i dont have any software. which software would work with this?

ive downloaded nokia PC suite 4 and 5 but u can only choose from comm ports and not USB!

help please

surely the USB driver would emulate a port?

yeah its should come up with USB as a port. but it doesnt.

What are you trying to achieve with the phone? I dont think any Nokia supported software support the USB cable, only Logomanager and Oxygen....

i tried logomanager. i get comm ports upto 8, but no mention of a USB connection.
