Right guys this is how it is
I start the car from cold and every thing is fine. I start driving. After about two miles a drop the clutch and the revs rise to 2000 then back to 1500 and back to 2000. Does this continuosly. A mile on i stop the car and again idles the same as just decribed. After 10 miles of driving i stop the car and it idles like normal.
Any ideas

Idle control valve? Seems to be a massive problem with Corsa's. Mine is going to Vauxhall tomorrow to get fault codes read because of theis problem.
Does your ECU light come on?

no it doesn't mate . just revs really weird but after a while it stops.

idle valve, take it off, clean it, put it back on, job done.

also check all cables of the injection system for corrosion and also the vacum hoses for holes

where is this idle contro valve, is it a hard job to find it, take it off and clean it?

haynes manual mate, its not hard u will need torque screwdriver thing, disconnect battery, unplug cable going into the motor, then undo screws.
