Who knows It only has 3 miles on the clock. I took it for fuel before it was due to go in for it's PDI. It was then going to be de-waxed, valleted and prepared for handover.
Oh well.

It'll be right, It'll just drain out, flush the tank out and no harm done.
One of the lads at work filled a van with petrol a bit back but never started it,after the tank was drained it ran rough for a few minutes but has been fine ever since. I think wagon drivers used to put a bit of petrol in their tanks to stop them icing up or summat.
Diesel in a petrol is a bigger deal.

Was only a few weeks ago I flushed out the fuelo system on my dads car cos my mum put diesel in it & ran it - silly maire!
Wasn't too bad to sort, just drained the tank & fuel lines out, gave the carb a good clean out, new fuel filter, filled it back up with petrol & some octane booster, took all plugs out, dried them, then just kept turning it over, about 2/3rd throttle, keep checking plugs every 10-15 turns (dry if needed cos of small bits of diesel still in lines), and when got it running, was lumpy as hell, wouldn't idle, so just revved the engine for a while (abar 4.5-5k rpm), eventually it stopped blowin out plumes of white smoke & started to run ok, so just gave it a good few blasts down the local bypass & it was fine!
better than paying £300 as was what my dad was quoted at a garage!!

In older cars you can put petrol in a diesel, like said it stops it freezing. You can just run it through, it makes the engine run hot thats all, but a full tank is a bit of a problem.
Ive known people do it before, just dilute it every gallon or so.
Diesel in a petrol, = drain the tank.

dont worry too much about putting petrol in a diesel, it will still drive, it will be lumpy and noisy but it will still drive, just stick in diesel all the time to dilute it then after a while run some injector cleaner through it.
