I have a pc set up in one room, and I want to install another monitor into another room which is linked to the computer in the first room.

I also want to have a keyboard and mouse with the other monitor.

So, I will have a computer set up in one room, and a monitor, keyboard and mouse set up in another room which is linked to the pc.

what do i need??

why not move the pc to the other room, if you want everything else (monitor/mouse/keyboard) in another room?

it would be possible - actually not sure if you could extend the monitor cable too far. I have got my pc in the middle of my room with monitor off one way which isn't a very long cable and TV off the other way with is only a 0.5m cable!

I'd think more in terms of the problem rather than the solution. Whats the second system for?

Either a video card with 2 outputs, or two video cards and a dual-desktop set-up...

Either way is going to need keyboard/mouse extensions (from memory, you can pick up a switcher control-box, so you can choose which keyboard/mouse you want to use).

or you can pickup a cordless video mouse and keyboard setup, beware this costing you about 150quid available at most computer markets, last seen em at bowlers in traffod park manchester

A KVM switch if you don't want to use both 'stations' at the same time.
