i have glaas fibre mat resin and hardener
i know i mix hardener with the resin, and paint it onto the matt and the mdf but
does glass fibre mat/resin stick to mdf?
do i need to staple it on first? then add resin?

no it will stick on fine, well it did on my door builds anyway.

good stuff so if if staple it on then add resin ittl be fine
was also thinking if i sured it up a bit from the inside with any mat i have left over?

well thats fucked that then i put the fibre matt on added the resin
tuned it over to do the top edge and it all fell apart im pissed of! gib fuck it i cantbe arsed now!

did you let it all go off properly?!!! try putting some deep scores in the mdf cos the surface is likely to be treated.
by the way did you work out the interior dimensions of that box or just leaving it to luck? it really does need the proper amount of air inside to let the sub perform to its best.

no the glass mat tore coz the resin made it wet
gonna let it harden and cut out the bad part and make good the box is roughly the same size of the box it came out of
