My car has been sat on the drive for just over a week without being started, Now today when i try to start her up it wont. i have tried jump starting but that hasnt worked. it sounds like she is turning over, its just lacking the last part where she starts.
I know this isnt very descriptive but any help would be grateful

check for a spark, turn the engine over and one by one pull out the HT leads and hold them close to the engine block, you should hear the spark, put the lead back in and test the rest one by one, if you got a bleed valve on your fuel rail check the engine is getting fuel, these are the first things to check

plugs leads could be damp
leave it for a while hour or so then try jump starting again or put the batterey on charge

if i remember rightly if you spray WD40 on your leads it drives out the moisture

so spray on the leads near the spark plugs? or near the cap

or stick ur finger in the plug lead and get a mate to turn the engine over.
Works everytime im told. LOL

like the guys say, id be checking for spark. A good way to check is put a long star screwdriver in one of the HT leads and lay it against the body of the car and turn it over.
You should see the spark arcing off the body of the car.

well i use my other car mostly so its not a big problem, plus i have plans to make it a valver next year. just wanted to take her out for a fun drive.
