I always said the viper was quality until i had it on the audi. Mine was poor fitment, the filter fell apart and cannot justify spending 250 quid on something that does that. I have now bought the taipan induction kit and found its much better and 100 quid less

Not for me Joff I allready run coilovers. Darn, have to keep waiting to see if they have any deals where if you spend big £££ you get freebee's or discount on HiSpec goodies which I cant see happening as they are the same price as HiSpec do them for directly...

Your Viper fell apart??? I take it you sent it back to PiperX!
The end is removeable anyway so you can clear the filter of any debris, but that's the only thing that should move.
PiperX technical are always on the end of the phone for fitment advice, so if you find yours is a bad fit you might need a different fitting kit or something.

sent it back, the bloke who sold me it saw it a week after it was fitted when i returned it and couldnt believe what he saw. It was the correct fitment for my car but it wouldnt stay on and the actual filter had become unbonded and fell into several pieces. Just not worth the 250 quid imo.
