Should have tried to bump it mate??

Mine goes flat all the time, went flat once and since it has a bad habbit of doing it when I really dont want it to.

Would advise you to get a new battery now, I have got to get one too because mine is screwed.

You dont wanna go for Vauxhall I wouldnt say, Varta or something similar. Seen as your going for a new battery get one with a bigger amp hour rating, will give out more power over longer meaning it wont run out as easy.

Same here mate, mine is on a slant on the drive, head nearly popped off trying to push it off the other day, gave up and hunted for the jump leads.

Battery should be around £30-£40, wouldnt go to halfords, get to a local motor factors tomorrow or something.

my kenwood unit did this when my battery went flat, just press the reset button, should work then,

neil, did you try soldering the plug back onto the circuit board on the mfd? cos it always happens when i take mine out it doesnt work so i have to solder the plug back on.

Hopefully that is all I did. Will have a full on go at it one day. If that don't sort it then it's going out the window.
