The latest mod to my car, done sun 2nd dec 2003.
OUCH.
That is what happens when you come round a corner @ 70mph on the A1 that you can't see round from very far away, and find 2 police cars and an accident already there blocking both lanes, and a git doing 20mph down the sliproad......
I hit a stationary car backwards at, well, pretty quick, as the car spun after the brakes locked when i hit the pedal, total time of crash about 30s max, no time to do a thing...
Nobody hurt, but an important message here:
CHECK YOUR TINTS ARE LEGAL -> I'm having problems with mine.
and:
DECLARE ALL YOUR MODS -> If i'd had alloys, there's no way i coulda taken them off and put originals back on, despite what ppl say, you can't always return it to standard after a crash, and if they find summat not right, your insurance will refuse to pay!
Mine are being twats, about the tints particularly.
Those of you with undeclared performance mods will be in seriuos trouble if you have to claim off your insurance, they will find out...

i know that when i wrote my corsa off, i swapped my alloys straight away, neighbours wud had been thinking wot the fcuk
hope it works out ok, so did the police see everyfin then?

Yes, the police did see the lot, they only had a car in each lane, no cones or signs, so the accident must've been pretty fresh, they claim you could see their blue lights from further away, i didn't!
They "suggested" i was speeding, bear im mind i've just had my very 1st ever accident in nearly 5yrs driving, and a biggie!

I'm not saying a thing about that mate, or the way i was treated by the police at the scene, i'm bothered they've read the cs stickers and might be looking at the forum, might sound odd, but hey....

at least u didnt crash in2 a police car, this knob from where i live crashed in2 one, lets just say he was taken away for a while. he was driving like a prick tho so he deserved it

There was streetlights where i was mate, but you still can't see right round the corner, and there are trees all the way up to the barrier on the inside of the bend to stop you seeing round it too...
