Oliver Crowe, 18, from Tilehurst, was driving directly behind the Peugeot.
He said: “The car bounced out of control. He tried to regain control but the car span round to the other side of the road.”
The sales administrator, left shaken by the collision, tried to help the youngsters out of the car.
He said: “I could see them all in there and smoke was coming from the engine. I tried to open the door but it was jammed. I just thought how it could have been my mum or dad or any of my family in there. It all happened so quickly.”

This was about 2 years ago but I've only just found the arcticle after doing a search on Google for Oliver Crowe.
It was some scary sh1t I can tell you, pulled away from the traffic lights down the bottom of the hill and I was in my SXi, of course because it was all kitted up he thought "race him" me being sensible for once in my life thought "1.9 GTi there is no chance" so just let him carry on being a prat.
So followed him up the road and he was steaming it, then he must have swerved to miss a car pulling out a side road, and being that there was 6 people in there it just sort of lost control and went flying off onto the other side of the road into the Corsa.
I could'nt believe what was happening in front of my eyes
The Corsa must have been doing about 35-40 and the Pug about 60, the Corsa just went flying into the brick wall and the Pug just spun for what seemed like ages around in the middle of the road. The Corsa had a elderly driver in it and the horn was going off for ages!!
I stoped my car in the middle of the road (being a Saturday afternoon it was very busy) and just ran up to the Pug and pulled the drivers door down as hard as I could (I can tell you it was'nt hard for me to bend that door like it is in that picture) and they all managed to get out.
But what shit me up the most was when I got up to the Pug all of the six blokes were lying on top of each other blood everywhere, lifeless until I yanked the door down and got them all out.
But at the end of it I wish I had never stopped!!
I got a producer!! YES a fcuking producer!!  For helping at the scene of a accident I got a producer
Funny though because there were loads of other witnesses that got told to wait until the Police got there details but they never got a producer! Hmm could it have been that because I had a kitted car I was victimised? Yes I do believe so.
