i spotted one down the road from me for 700 quid!! i know its not a 100% good runner but ive emailed him to ask whats wrong with it, and if its ok im off to see it
only thing is insurance, ill pop it in my mams name, its 200 on the nova i have, need 2 see what it will be on the gsi LOL
if i buy it, ill probs sell most of it n use engine in mine
can i drop a 1.2 in the gsi and sell it on/change log book to a 1.2???

spose you could yeah, only like going from 1.2 to 1.6 but in reverse, and then if it doesnt work you can sell gsi bumper etc, i know a lad who will have it straight off ya if u do it.

Yeah you'll make more selling everything from the gsi than dropping a 1.2 in it
You could sell everythin gfrom the interior/bumpers, arches, skirts, to bonnet, doors, mirros, suspension etc etc you probably make more back

awaiting email
got the ££ here for it, might even be able to keep the nova for work, the green corsa for shows and the gsi for thrashing about
only 700 notes, tell him 650 and ill pick up
sell kit for 250, interior etc and then all other bits, = FREE engine for me

Here are some pics.
My Girlfriend bought it off one of her mates at the weekend for £1200, not knowing that the engine was bust. There is loads of white smoke, which sounds like the head gasket... But also smells of oil.... I am not 100% sure what it is as I am not a mechanic and don't have the time to mess around with it... I can't really be bothered to take it to a garage. Its caused a few arguments as you could imagine.
The car itself is in very good condition. It is 10 years old so there are a few marks on it here and there. The main one is photographed. There is a little scuff on the front bumper and a mark on the rear.
I have the wrong alloys on the front at the moment as I had them lying about. The 2 original ones are in the boot.
The car has got a pioneer single CD player which will need fitting. The cam belt was changed at Reg Vardys about 6 months ago.
Any more questions give me a shout.
I am available until 5.00pm today if you want to see it and all day tomorrow and Sunday.

worth a chance putting new head gasket on
could always sell engine on for spares and drop a 2.0 16v in and keep it, good base for a project car

Do that 2.0 the GSI, nice black/cream leather and some anthra 16s with big fat brakes behind them

been meaning to ditch the green one for a while, or should i put my buckets n harnesses n cage etc in the gsi, strip it out, put the gsi interior in the grren 1 and sell it on?
think ill take the classier bits off the green 1 and sell it cheaper, keep bits like tv n ps2 etc
