Car was in on monday and got
rear wheel bearing sorted
oil and filter changed and a flush out.
reversed car out of drive today and huge puddle of oil on my driveway.
which was all monoblocked etc 6 month ago at a cost of 2.5k
Looked underneath car and oil dripping from sump plug FFS...
had to go out in pishing rain and scrub driveway with soapy water..looks like it came off.
goin to garage 1st thing...got a tub underneath sump at moment....

Is it?
Not aimed at you but pisses me off when people expect oil and filter etc changed for a fiver or something daft. Its a dirty, boring time consuming task that isnt neccesarily the most straightforward. Theres a possibility of oil filter vibraing loose or getting punctured either way it looks like your fault and can bew costly. Oil plug may not seat correctly, it may be rounded off, if the last person to refit it cross threaded it you have the problem when you take it back out etc etc.
Horrible job i hate it!

ok m8...but it's not as if it's rocket science is it..Know it's a dirty shitty job and if I could be arsed would do it myself.
i don't expect it for a fiver either..I expect it for nothin as bro in law runs garage
I know where your coming from though.
All seems ok,not threaded or that..was just not done right..

when i got new tyres for my alloys saw it was a young lad changing the rubbers, i asked politly if there was any one erm a little older n wiser who could do it instead.
mav u shud do ur own oil changes peice of piss, and u can rest assurd nothing will go wrong, only thing mine will go into garages for is respray or welding, everything else i will do myself.
