With the way the world is these days, and how advanced technology is (DNA etc), you'd most probably get caught even you thought you was clever and covered all your tracks.
Most people (like the majority of the posters in this thread) don't quite understand the implication of having your entire freedom taken away from you, trapped in a cell for the majority of your active life.
I think to a certain extent, everyone is capable. People who brag 'yeah i could' are talking crap. You wouldn't know until the actual time came - different things make different people click.
