If I had to choose between the Escort and the Fiesta, I'd go with the Escort.
I would probably have to drive sitting on the back seat if I was in the Fiesta!

mate you get your good ones and your bad ones. My dad ran one for years trouble free as it was well looked after. I could say the same about Valvers as mines cost me an arm and a leg top get running right. But like i said all down the how its treated etc. I think they are icons love them. I'm an S1 man myself but i do like a mint mercury grey s2

I like this one subtle yet well modded under the bonnet, the size of the brakes hint at this

strange...i mean they got a fairly large community (bar the burbery wearing twats) and retain popularity to this day so cant be all to bad.
If anything get an S1 one as the majority are well looked after and very sought after

there is a bloke at work who has had his S2 ERST for over 5years now, running a touch over 250bhp at the fly from a bored out 1600 block.
he reckons over the years its had four re-builds ($$$), and he has spent in the reigon of 3.5k now just keeping it running sound.
it shifts
personally all that cash would get spent buying a fast, reliable car in the first place!

Dont like s1 as much like s2 ith s1 kit on if that makes sense lol like my mates, when new engine arrived should be pushing over 250 bhp of from wheels, but its gonna be 2ltr fully tuned n the lot then throwin bout 100 shot of nos
If i had could choose i would get fezzy as there aint as many.
Was gonna get fezzy - immacculate condition bout 165 bhp few months ago but insurance was about 3-4k so i dont bother put money into corsa
