I need to get a set for my 16" Speedlines. I have always liked toyos but have only got avons to compare.

What do you all reccomend? And is www.mytryres.net the cheapest?

Cheers

Got the Yokohama 539s on my Pro Race 2's, but they're terrible in the wet.

I'm giving the Eagle F1 GSD 3's a go sometime in the Spring (once the 539's have had it).

Joff, you will be pleased with the F1's..

I had the previous (GSD2's) on my ITR, and they've got to be the grippiest tyre in wet.. grip as well in the wet as the dry!

The only fault I found with the GSD2's was the sidewall isnt that stiff, and on the ITR you can really feel the tyres flexing, this is supposed to be cured with the GSD3's thou.

If you say Yoko's or Toyo's then im willing to bet you havnt tried Eagle F1's...

Yokos and Toyo's may grip well in the dry, but only cos they are so soft...

.. wear rate on the Toyo's/Yokos is laughable.

I had both Michelin Pilot SX GT and Pirelli P-Zero on my 16s, the Michelins are actually a smaller tyre despite having the same size written on the sidewall.

If you're going to deck it, Dunlop do a 40 profile 195, you'd also gain less rolling radius with this option.
