Loaded magazine used the term Herbert ('erbert). If i knew where the magazine was i'd give you their description of an 'erbert.

Your basic one needs a baseball cap, big coat and Reebok Classics. Acts tough in a group but a swift slap will soon put them down.

theres not alot of difference in apperance between neds and townies, neds just drive around in fiestas on a friday/saturday night where townies go into there local shit house town, get drunk and start fights with people they have never meet before
