I just told direct line about my mods and they wont insure me any more! so i need a new company! asap! thanks

yes. CIS give you 15% discount if you are young with no claims bonus of zero, i paid 800 2years ago on a 1.2L G reg Nova

ok its a 1.0 12v - no engine mods, lowered, clear rear lights, exhaust, fully colour coded and 15 inch alloys. so u think CIS is the way forward??

Yes,because they just insure it as a standard car,I've been with them for a few years now,never had any complaints,sorted out my broken windscreen very quickly.

I'm not sure where you stand if you were to crash it though,obviously you would be insured but they may only pay to put it back to standard.

they just said it was no longer valid due to the mods, so i couldn't drive it. and they said they wud not insure me due to me been under 25! so i was well screwed!! gave CIS a call looks like ill be moving with them as i got a v good quote! driving my mums Ford KA at the moment! thanks for the replies ppl

its £1200 with me as the only driver. i have been on mums insurance until now. I have 3 points and obviously no no claims. thats with all the mods so its not too bad, what u think? ill be changing it over on monday i think, till then my car is sat on the drive

thanks for the suggestion of CIS Corsa nut - its the way forward! direct line are absolute jokers! they basically told me i have been driving my car illegally and with void insurance for 6 months!
