Just brought new gearknob need to remove standard corsa gearknob. With the ripspeed 1 i got it says u should be able to remove existing 1 by screwing anticlockwise

i Done this and it dosnt do nowt and i found out underneath the current 1 it seems like theres a spring or sommit

Some1 help plz

Take a stanley knife to it. Then wrench the bit of plastic off that's underneath.

If you have a post 97 corsa then the spring under the original gear knob just slots into the new one. From what i have seen on a pre 97 it has some stupid plastic bit that needs cutting off.

Also when it says turn it anticlockwise, it means wrench it. All i did, comes off eventually.

foookin ell, i was pidding wit ma sis cd player other day got me and ma dad realised to get it out wasnt to put the metal bits down side was on the top "i broke her cd player" i sorta got pissed off and yanked it from the casset player and broke it " oh well ... nm got her new 1 now

just give it a good pull and turn..
Don't need to cut anything..or cut clips or that.

It will come off...
