Does offset of alloys affect handling? I know that a corsa will handle much better on a set of 15's than a set of 17's and drive better but i am tempted to get some deep dish 15 inch euro ris with an offset of ET35. I am currently on 15's ET45 with a 2ltr and i dont really want the handling impaired. I know Vaux made the offsets to 49 to stop tramling and help keep the car stright if a puncture occured etc but does offset matter in handling?

It will tramline really badly with that offset m8, the wider the wheels are the worse it gets.

Dude, my et38's uysed to take me all over the road. Espcially down places like the by-pass through Crossways, down the road from Dartford to gravesend etc.
But on et45 it shouldn't tramline that bad at all. Mine doesn't do it much anymore (bar the lorry tracks) and thats on et40.
