Got some cash to splash on something
Got a number of options for spending it but not sure what to do.
1: Put the car into bodyshop to have trim painted, flush boot, bonnet resprayed (possibly bad boy).
2: Buy a 1.4 16v engine and get it fitted (mainly for the sound)
3: Buy smoked rear clusters, smoked headlights and a grill of some sort.
4: Get new head-unit, sub and amp.
What would you go for, got another 2-3 months til the cars back on the road so got plenty of time for mods. Pics in garage.
Opinions please

So 1,2 or 3
Really need bonnet resprayed but love the sound of the 1.4/1.6 sports.
Fook knows

Get the black trim resprayed first. It'll improve your car a huge amount.
As for upgrading the engine "just for the sound" are you mad???
Upgrade the engine for the PERFORMANCE!!! If you want sound, buy a drum!

If you go for an engine transplant, may as well go for the 1.6 instead of the 1.4. How old are you, can you afford insurance on bigger engine etc? If not, get the bodywork sorted first and then you will appreciate the power more when you get it, as you will have been driving a slowish car for ages!

I disagree with the engine upgrade posts. In a 2.0 yes you will be fast, but its more impressive driving say a 1400 and keeping up with 1600/2000's

Just love the grunt that comes off them, only 18 and coming off a ban so 1.6/2.0 really arent an option. Gonna get a price for body work, any body got a rough idea how much no. 1 would cost? Buy a drum

Arden - Id think it'd cost around £150-200 for that. Id remove the kick strips too - many dont but I like the doors completely clear. Keep it subtle mate
Mav - Lookwise hes got alloys so the next big think I think is colourcoding. Makes a big difference I think. Performance wise, hes best off with the Drum!

Mav: eventually gonna get side skirts and front lip spoiler so gonna have to get it colour coded at some point. I like the way the black trim breaks the car up but the dimply sills where you see the jacking points looks absolutely rank. Every corsa should have come with GSi skirts as standard imo.
Stark: A 1.4 16v wouldnt be quick standard but turns the heads when you give it some (induction kit).
