cameon 3 times since i bought car.turn car off and re start it and its away.ma bro says his sport used to do it all the time.anything to worry about??its an eco-tec by the way

probably egr valve, take it off and clean it with some carb cleaner

why not do paperclip test

i havea 1.4 16v sport and my ecu light comes on every now and then, just goes out tho, it aint bin on for a while tho! humm.............

do your lights come on when your being a bit hevy with the right foot or is it just during normal drivig?

yeah ever it feels like it, on tick over and stuff. cant be arsed goingto vaux and seeing what the problem is, it still runs fine

that happened to my car then it gradually came on more and more then it stayed on I had to get my egr valve and air control valve replaced.

if it only happens when your hammering it the it goes out when u stop i wouldnt worry about it. i had one that did it all the time the ecu just panics because its taking that much air in. if it happens all the time tough then, i don't know

mine used to come one after a while then go of and come back on again. turned out to be the earth wire from the alternator. BUT DO NOT GO FIDDLING ABOUT WITH WIRES IN THERE the voltage when running is enough to kill
